Saw cute animals and nice flowers and cool insects on trip, thought of Lawrence while taking photos. I still think of him so often, although we never "met" - because he was an influence on a bit of my life. Always will be.

I was preparing my 2008 income tax a couple of weeks ago and came across an envelope with the receipts from my London trip and found this, which is a list Lawrence made of musical artists he wanted me to check out:

That's nice. I love when people like to share their finds. Once an English teacher wrote a big list of writers I should check out. I appreciate that stuff like no other! I am always doing that for people.

Bad news, Pets Corner in Jesmond Dene is closing in September for a refurb. Sad

So people coming to Lawrence's 40th birthday won't be able to see it, it's a shame. but Jesmond Dene is still available for exploration! I'm concerned that WHQ may not be around by October too! Disaster! I'll have to go and keep them afloat.
